Hi. My name is Carlie Cole. I am the new “chic” in the hood. I just moved from the SOMA hood July 2013. My sister, Flossy Folsom, also lived in SOMA. Well, I guess I was a bit more successful than she was when it came to boys, or shall I say men! I met a wonderful guy, my soulmate actually, online of all places! Yikes! Never thought I would go online, but the heavens looked after me. It was a match made …..well you know the words! After a year or so, my guy and I decided that I should move in with him at his place in Cole Valley.

COLE VALLEY??  WHERE in the world is that? Certainly not in the hub of things in this amazing City by the Bay! I could not walk two blocks to the bay, like I used to, or walk 5 blocks to the cultural center of SF (SF MOMA, Yerba Buena, The Jewish Museum, the new CITY TARGET, Westfield Center, The Ferry Building, and the list goes on…), have funky and cool South Park and AT&T Park across the street!!     So, here I am, in a “New Hood”, writing once again about people, culture, businesses, and points of interest in Cole Valley, a very SF flavored neighborhood near Golden Gate Park and Haight Ashbury.
