Carlie’s typical day starts around 6:30am with her glorious trek up Frederick Street for her morning power walk. But one cold, sunny, sarcastic May morning, something out of the ordinary was glaring her in the face! “What’s this!”, she hollered at the pooch, as he lifted his leg to pee then came over to sniff. Carlie peeked between her fingers at the bright brilliant gold globe that was atop the pair of columns at the base of the banisters to a Victorian on Frederick Street. “I LOVE THIS! Just what Cole Valley needs to spiffy up the hood”, she touted, as she continued her long hike up the hill. Maybe others will follow suit. We just have to wait and see.
